Corrections, disputes, and removals policy
Tampa FL Tile Contractor Guide is an independent directory of tile contractors in the Tampa area. Listings pull from public business data, and the scores you see come from Google reviews run through a single, fixed scoring method that applies to every business the same way. Your listing here is free, and nothing you pay changes your score or how you rank. This page explains how to request a correction, dispute a score, or ask for a listing removal. The full rubric is published under scoring method.
Fixing business details
Factual fields on your listing (your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services offered) can be corrected. We make the change when you provide the correct information along with proof we can verify, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Corrections stay in place through future data refreshes, so you won't see your old details pop back up.
Questioning a score
Scores are never adjusted by hand. A dispute is a claim that the source data is wrong, such as your listing matched to the wrong business, reviews assigned to you that belong elsewhere, or a summary that doesn't reflect what reviewers actually wrote. When you file a dispute, we re-check the sources and rebuild your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher score; if the data is correct, the score stays as it is.
Removing a listing
We remove listings when a business is permanently closed, when a listing is a duplicate, or when a business falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification cycle also finds and removes permanently closed businesses on its own. If your listing is accurate and within scope, we may decline removal and will tell you why plainly.
