Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 25, 2026
Welcome to TileInstallersTampa.com. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TileInstallersTampa.com, including its forms, directory listings, referral services, estimates, communications, and any tile installation or related services arranged through the website.
By accessing the website, submitting a service request, contacting a listed provider, or purchasing services through us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Do not use the website if you do not agree to these terms.
1. About TileInstallersTampa.com
TileInstallersTampa.com is operated by Tile Installers Tampa Co, doing business as Tile Installers Tampa, referred to in these terms as “Tile Installers Tampa,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
Depending on the circumstances, we may operate in one or more of the following roles:
- Directory or referral service: We may collect your project information and connect you with independent tile installers, flooring contractors, remodeling companies, or other service providers.
- Service provider or contracting company: We may accept responsibility for your project directly and perform the work through our employees, independent subcontractors, or other qualified service providers.
The role we are performing for a particular project will be identified through the estimate, proposal, work order, service agreement, invoice, or other written communication provided for that project.
2. Directory and Referral Services
When we act only as a directory, advertising platform, or referral service:
- We are not the contractor performing the work.
- Service providers are independent businesses and are not our employees, agents, partners, or representatives.
- Any service agreement is entered into directly between you and the selected service provider.
- The service provider is responsible for its estimates, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, employees, subcontractors, equipment, materials, permits, insurance, warranties, and compliance with applicable laws.
- We may receive compensation from service providers for advertising, referrals, leads, introductions, appointments, or completed projects.
- Your use of the website does not guarantee that a service provider will accept your project or contact you.
- You are not required to hire a provider introduced through the website.
We may share your service request and contact information with one or more providers that may be able to perform the requested work. Additional information about how personal information is collected and shared is provided in our Privacy Policy.
3. Projects We Accept Directly
In some cases, Tile Installers Tampa may provide an estimate, accept payment, enter into a service agreement with you, and arrange for the project to be performed by employees or subcontractors.
When we accept a project directly:
- The specific scope, price, materials, payment schedule, estimated timeline, warranty, and other project terms will be stated in a separate proposal, work order, invoice, or service agreement.
- We may select, assign, replace, or supervise subcontractors involved in completing the project.
- Subcontractors may be independent businesses rather than our employees.
- Any project-specific written agreement will control if it conflicts with these general website Terms of Service.
- Work outside the original scope may require a written change order and additional payment.
Submission of a website form does not create a construction contract or require us to perform the project.
4. Service Requests
When submitting a service request, you agree to provide complete and accurate information, including:
- Your name and contact information.
- The project address.
- The approximate size and condition of the work area.
- The type of tile or installation requested.
- Known damage, moisture problems, structural issues, or hazardous materials.
- Access restrictions, condominium rules, homeowner association requirements, or permitting concerns.
- Any other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the project.
We are not responsible for delays, changed pricing, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or undisclosed information.
5. Estimates and Pricing
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a signed written agreement:
- Website pricing, calculators, cost ranges, telephone estimates, and preliminary quotes are informational estimates only.
- Final pricing may depend on an on-site inspection, measurements, substrate condition, demolition requirements, tile selection, layout, accessibility, preparation work, materials, labor availability, and unexpected conditions.
- An estimate is not binding until accepted in accordance with the instructions contained in the estimate or project agreement.
- Prices may change if the project scope, materials, measurements, site conditions, or customer instructions change.
- Additional work will generally require customer approval through a written or electronic change order.
Service providers listed or introduced through the website independently establish their own prices.
6. Payments, Deposits, and Refunds
Payment terms for projects accepted directly by us will be stated in the applicable estimate, invoice, work order, or service agreement.
Depending on the project, we may require:
- A scheduling deposit.
- A materials deposit.
- Progress payments.
- Payment upon substantial completion.
- Payment for approved change orders.
- Reimbursement for specially ordered or nonreturnable materials.
Deposits and payments may become nonrefundable after materials have been ordered, labor has been scheduled, custom fabrication has begun, or other project costs have been incurred.
Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and payment disputes will be handled according to the applicable project agreement and governing law.
We do not control payments made directly to independent service providers introduced through the website.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide as much notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
Cancellation, rescheduling, restocking, delivery, mobilization, or service-call fees may apply when:
- Labor has already been scheduled.
- Materials have been ordered or delivered.
- A crew has traveled to the property.
- The work area is inaccessible or unprepared.
- The customer or an authorized representative is unavailable.
- Required utilities, approvals, permits, or site conditions are not ready.
Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees will be described in the project agreement or communicated before being charged where reasonably possible.
8. Customer Responsibilities
For projects performed directly through us, the customer is responsible for:
- Providing safe and reasonable access to the property and work area.
- Removing personal belongings, furniture, decorations, and valuables unless removal is included in the written scope.
- Keeping children, pets, tenants, guests, and unauthorized persons away from active work areas.
- Providing functioning water, electricity, climate control, and restroom access when reasonably required.
- Disclosing known leaks, moisture intrusion, mold, asbestos, lead-based materials, structural defects, pest damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Obtaining homeowner association, condominium, landlord, or property-owner approval unless the written agreement assigns that responsibility to us.
- Confirming that the customer has authority to approve work at the property.
- Following care, curing, cleaning, sealing, and maintenance instructions.
The customer may be responsible for additional charges caused by concealed damage, unsafe conditions, unavailable access, inaccurate measurements, project delays, or failure to prepare the work area.
9. Permits and Regulated Work
Tile installation may sometimes involve related work such as plumbing, electrical, structural modification, waterproofing, demolition, or other regulated services.
Where a permit, inspection, license, or specialized trade is required, responsibility for obtaining or providing it will be stated in the project agreement.
Unless expressly included in writing, estimates do not include permit fees, engineering, architectural services, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, structural repairs, plumbing, electrical work, or correction of preexisting code violations.
10. Materials and Natural Variations
Tile, stone, grout, wood-look products, and related materials may vary in shade, texture, pattern, thickness, size, veining, finish, and appearance.
Customers understand that:
- Samples, photographs, screens, and displays may not exactly represent installed materials.
- Natural stone and certain manufactured products may have normal color and pattern variations.
- Dye lots and production runs may differ.
- Grout color may appear different depending on lighting, moisture, sealing, installation, and surrounding materials.
- Replacement materials purchased later may not exactly match the original installation.
The customer is responsible for approving the selected materials unless material selection is expressly delegated to us in writing.
11. Hidden and Unforeseen Conditions
Tile removal and installation may reveal conditions that were not visible during the initial inspection, including:
- Water damage.
- Mold or mildew.
- Rot or deterioration.
- Cracked or uneven substrates.
- Defective previous installations.
- Inadequate waterproofing.
- Plumbing or electrical problems.
- Structural movement.
- Pest damage.
- Asbestos-containing or other hazardous materials.
Work may be paused if an unsafe or unforeseen condition is discovered. Corrective work may require a revised estimate, additional payment, or involvement of another qualified professional.
12. Scheduling and Delays
Project dates and completion timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
We and independent service providers are not responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including:
- Material shortages or delivery delays.
- Weather or natural disasters.
- Transportation interruptions.
- Illness or labor shortages.
- Permit or inspection delays.
- Concealed property conditions.
- Utility interruptions.
- Customer-requested changes.
- Acts or omissions of the customer, property owner, association, supplier, or another contractor.
- Government actions or emergencies.
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes.
13. Workmanship and Product Warranties
Any workmanship warranty for a project accepted directly by us will be described in the applicable written project agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Manufacturer warranties are provided solely by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
- Manufacturer defects do not automatically constitute defective installation.
- Warranties do not cover ordinary wear, misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, movement of the structure, moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks, impact damage, unauthorized repairs, substrate failure, product defects, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
- Independent service providers are responsible for their own warranties.
No website statement, listing, article, estimate, or oral representation creates a warranty unless it is included in the applicable written project agreement.
14. Provider Listings and Information
We attempt to keep directory information useful and reasonably accurate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, qualifications, insurance, licensing status, reviews, pricing, or performance of any listed provider.
We may add, edit, rank, feature, suspend, or remove listings at our discretion. Featured placement or inclusion in the directory may be based on advertising, compensation, location, availability, listing completeness, customer interest, or other factors.
A listing does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by Tile Installers Tampa.
Customers should independently evaluate providers and request appropriate references, insurance information, credentials, written estimates, and project terms before hiring them.
15. Communications Consent
By submitting a contact or service-request form, you authorize Tile Installers Tampa and the service providers identified or described at the point of submission to contact you regarding your request by telephone, email, or text message.
Communications may include appointment scheduling, estimates, service information, follow-up messages, and related offers. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing services. You may request that marketing text messages stop by replying “STOP.” You may request that emails stop by using an unsubscribe link where provided or contacting us directly.
Your carrier is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

- It is not defamatory, threatening, fraudulent, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful.
- You have permission to share any photographs or identifying information included in it.
You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute submitted content for website operation, marketing, and promotional purposes.
We may remove or decline to publish user content at our discretion.

You may use the website only for personal, noncommercial purposes related to locating or requesting tile installation services.
No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the website.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, manufacturers, suppliers, financing services, social media platforms, payment processors, or service providers.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, privacy practices, products, services, availability, content, or transactions.
Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website, directory, listings, content, and referral services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties regarding the website and referral services, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and noninfringement.
We do not guarantee:

Liability relating to installation services accepted directly by us will be governed by the applicable project agreement and applicable law.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

- Content you submit through the website.
This provision does not require you to indemnify us for liability caused solely by our own unlawful conduct where such indemnification is prohibited.
23. Disputes With Independent Providers
Disputes concerning an independent service provider’s pricing, scheduling, performance, workmanship, damage, warranty, or conduct must generally be resolved directly between the customer and that provider.
We may attempt to facilitate communication but are not required to mediate, arbitrate, investigate, refund, repair, or resolve disputes between users and independent providers.
This section does not apply when Tile Installers Tampa is expressly identified as the party contracting directly with the customer.
24. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless another location is required by applicable law or stated in a project agreement, legal proceedings relating to these terms or the website must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Hillsborough County, Florida.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted unless otherwise required by law.
Continued use of the website after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Project agreements already signed by the parties will remain governed by the version and terms applicable to those agreements unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The affected provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted.
27. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable estimate, work order, invoice, or project agreement constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and relevant services.
For projects accepted directly by us, the project-specific agreement controls over these website terms in the event of a conflict.
